Springback 3 Nm

The electric springback actuators of the JOVENTA® SPRINGBACK series have been specially developed for motorizing safety dampers (frost protection) in air-conditioning systems as well as for smoke dampers and sealing dampers with safety function. When the control voltage is applied, the actuator moves the damper to the operating position while simultaneously tensioning the integrated spring. When the voltage is switched off or fails, the actuator returns to the initial position (safety position) with the aid of the spring.

6…8 mm SW as well as minimum axis length 20 mm (clamping block under the drive, otherwise 84 mm).

Security Fire 8 Nm

The electric spring return actuators of the JOVENTA® SECURITY FIRE series have been specially developed for the motorization of fire dampers. After applying the supply voltage, the actuator moves the damper to the operating position (OPEN) while simultaneously tensioning the integrated spring. If the power supply to the actuator is interrupted, the stored spring energy immediately moves the damper to the fail-safe position (CLOSED). The manual position fixing by means of a hand crank is automatically cancelled when the actuator is operated electrically. Depending on the version, the actuators are equipped with thermal sensors for duct and/or environment which trigger the spring return when a temperature of 72 °C is exceeded. The simplest version does not have thermal sensors.

Installation on damper axis: integrated 12 mm square axis adapter as well as optional adapters for 10 mm and 8 mm square axes.

The actuator motorizes the damper to the safety position (damper open). In the event of a voltage interruption, the gear is mechanically and reliably locked. The actuator thus meets the requirements of DIN V 18232 T6. As long as the supply voltage is not interrupted, the damper can be closed again with the actuator by authorized rescue personnel (fire department) using a motor, in order to specifically seal off sections of the building from the passage of smoke.

Security Fire - Smoke, safety actuator for smoke extraction dampers with venting function, SLC system.

The electric actuators of the JOVENTA SECURITY SMOKE seriesSE…SLC AKO have been specially developed for motorizing smoke extraction dampers with a venting function. In normal operation (no fire alarm), these dampers serve as normal exhaust dampers. In the event of an alarm, the dampers are closed by motor to prevent the spread of smoke. As long as the supply voltage is not interrupted, the damper with the actuator can be opened again by motor by authorized rescue personnel (fire department) in order to remove smoke from specific sections of the building. If the power supply is interrupted, the actuator still executes the last command received with the help of the integrated rechargeable battery and then locks the gear mechanically. The actuator thus meets the requirements of DIN V 18232 T6. Control, monitoring and power supply are provided via a 2-wire line from the JSLC-K module.
