In the past
In 1991 JOVENTA was founded as a Swiss joint-stock company in Eschenbach. The founders were former employees of BELIMO AG, which at that time had introduced the damper actuator to the market in the technical design common today. With JOVENTA AG, its founders were able to implement their own ideas in the further development of the actuator range. At the same time, JOVENTA Stellantriebe Vertriebs GmbH was founded as the German sales company in Stuttgart Ruit, which had the largest market share at that time.
JOVENTA AG and its subsidiaries were later taken over by the US group Johnson Controls. Subsequently, all sales companies worldwide were liquidated or fully integrated into the JCI companies, except for the German Vertriebs GmbH. The management was able to successfully continue and expand JOVENTA Stellantriebe Vertriebs GmbH.
Today
In 2010, the then (and now) managing director, Mr. Frank Schulze, was able to separate the company from the group and lead it back to independence. The distribution rights for the Joventa products are still with Frakta Vertriebs GmbH, in order to continue to supply the products that have proven themselves to customers because of their simplicity, robustness, reliability and long service life. Since then, the company has been operating under the name Frakta Vertriebs GmbH. This enables the management to develop the product range independently and to offer customers many frequently required field devices in ventilation and air conditioning systems from a single source. This is a great advantage for customers, as they now have the same contact person for a wide range of components.
Frakta initially started out at the old location of JOVENTA Stellantriebe Vertriebs GmbH in Leinfelden-Echterdingen. Today, the company operates from its new headquarters in Rohrdorf near Nagold. The new company building offers larger storage areas for fast delivery of orders, better working conditions for the staff and modern training rooms for customer information and support.
