The R-design are ready-made pressure-balanced two-way valves. Pressure balancing has the advantage that the maximum closing pressure achievable with the actuator is always guaranteed, regardless of the pressure drop across the valve. The high-quality stainless steel trim and the sealing materials used guarantee reliable maintenance-free long-term operation with a very low leakage rate. The characteristic optimized for thermodynamic processes makes the valves particularly suitable for heating and air-conditioning applications. The three-way valves can be used as mixing or diverting valves.
