Closing dampers

The VFA are maintenance-free wafer closing dampers of pressure class PN16 in the nominal diameter range DN25/32 to DN300. They are designed for use in cold and cooling water systems, heating systems, for wastewater, drinking water and service water. On request, these closing dampers are also available in the version with threaded eyes. The body is made of painted cast iron, the disc up to DN80 is made of stainless steel. For larger nominal diameters, the disc is also made of gray cast iron. The seal is a soft-sealing EPDM sleeve seal. The closing dampers can be used in the temperature range -10 … +130 °C. A wide range of actuators is available for adjusting the closing dampers. JOVENTA damper actuators or the OM-1 rotary actuator from ARI can be used for nominal diameters up to DN100. For larger nominal diameters, corresponding OM actuators are also available.
