Overview of the JOVENTA safety drives

	Security Fire 8 Nm The electric spring return actuators of the JOVENTA® Security Fire series have been specially developed for the motorization of fire dampers. After the supply voltage has been applied, the actuator brings the damper into the operating position while simultaneously clamping the integrated spring. When the power supply of the drive is cut-off, the damper is immediately driven into the safety position by the stored spring energy. The manual position fixation by means of the hand crank is automatically lifted when the actuator is operated electrically. Depending on the design, the actuators are equipped with thermal sensors for the channel and/or environment, which trigger the spring return when a temperature of 72 °c is exceeded. The simplest version does not have thermal sensors. mounting on damper axle: integrated 12 mm square axis adapter as well as optional adapters for 10 mm and 8 mm square axes
